Like most beekeepers we use typical Langstroth hives that we keep on our property behind our house.  We don't move them around like the large commercial beekeepers do to follow pollination contracts. 

 

Our honey has won several awards for taste at contests held at local beekeeper associations.  We are blessed with great flowers in the area to produce honey that tastes that good.
 

We started with our first two hives in 2010, shown below in the left photo in our yard in Brookside Village.  A more recent photo of a portion of our main apiary is shown below on the right during the early spring before the main nectar flow.
